Buffalo action and good advice from fellow babe, Amanda Mccrea:

“There is a lot of sketchy shit going on right now and it is overwhelming, but we have to be careful to not burn ourselves out on every topic. It is important to support the causes we believe in across the board, but we can’t beat ourselves up if we miss a rally, or couldn’t participate in a particular call bank. We just need to do what we can do and ensure we are caring for ourselves and our health while doing it.”

Education Secretary for SALE(Amber Aeris, a v cool babe, put this together!)

“On February 7, 2017, the United State Senate confirmed extremely underqualified, underwhelming Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education. DeVos’ confirmation comes on the heels of her disastrous Senate confirmation hearings wherein she was unable to answer basic questions about public education theory or accountability in educational institutions. It was also noted that DeVos’ family has donated $200 Million to the Republican Party and has payed-to-play in Trump’s Swamp Cabinet. As an American with a passion for a sound, quality public education, I now see that experience in education, administration, teaching, or any amount of days in a public education institution, while nice, is not required. However, the sum of $200 Million is.I ask that you, American citizens, help me in raising that money to put toward public education and perhaps one day, a qualified Secretary of Education. Money donated to this cause will be given to the Alliance for Quality Education , a statewide coalition of pro-public education groups seeking to protect students in New York State.”
